LFOs
Every instrument has two LFOs (LFO 1 and LFO 2), on page 2 of the Instrument screen alongside the MOD slots. Each LFO has:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| ASSIGN | Which parameter the LFO modulates: VOLUME, PAN, PITCH, CUTOFF, RES, WT POS, SEND A, SEND B, or OFF |
| SYNC | FREE: rate set by a hex byte, exponentially from 0.05 Hz (00) to 20 Hz (FF). SYNC: rate locked to the project BPM as a fraction |
| RATE | Free mode: hex speed (00–FF). Sync mode: N / D — A+←→ changes N (1–8), A+↑↓ changes D (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32). E.g. 1 / 4 = one full LFO cycle per bar |
| DEPTH | Modulation amount (00–FF) |
| RETRIG | ON (default) restarts the LFO phase on every new note trigger. OFF lets it run free. |
The LFO waveform is a sine only. Parameters targeted by any LFO show a ~ on the left of the field label. B on an LFO field resets that whole LFO to its defaults.
DEPTH doesn't sweep the full range of every target; full depth (FF)
means:
| Target | Swing at DEPTH FF |
|---|---|
| VOLUME | ±50% around the current value |
| PAN | ±half the pan range |
| CUTOFF / RES | ±half the filter range |
| WT POS | ±half the wavetable's frame range |
| SEND A / SEND B | ±half the send range |
| PITCH | ±2 semitones — a vibrato, not a full sweep |
If both LFOs target the same parameter, their effects add together — two full-depth LFOs on VOLUME can swing twice as far as one. LFO values are snapshotted at the moment a note triggers, so changing an LFO's settings mid-note doesn't affect the voice already ringing, only the next one.
