Note OFF

In the phrase note column, pressing B on an empty cell (---) inserts OFF. An OFF step releases the playing voice on that channel: it starts the release stage of the ADSR envelope on engines that have one (Sub, Wavetable, Macro, Multi, Chip, Reso), and stops immediately on Sampler and Drum. OFF also releases any active CHD chord voices and, on a Drum instrument, every pad voice currently ringing on that channel.

• B on an OFF cell clears it back to ---
• A-tap on an OFF cell replaces it with the last-used note
• A PRB command on the same step also gates the OFF — a failed probability roll skips the release just like it would skip a note.
