Note OFF

In the phrase note column, pressing B on an empty cell (---) inserts OFF. An OFF step releases the playing voice on that channel — it starts the release envelope (on synths) or stops immediately (on sampler oneshot).

• B on an OFF cell clears it back to ---
• A-tap on an OFF cell replaces it with the last-used note
