Status Bar

The narrow strip at the bottom of every screen shows:

• Screen name and current BPM
• Transport symbol: a filled triangle (▶) when playing, a filled square (■) when stopped. A small label appears next to the triangle to show the current isolation mode: C for chain loop (Select+Start on Chain screen), P for phrase loop (Select+Start on Phrase screen), or a circular arrow icon (↺) for song-row loop (Select+Start on Song screen when stopped).
• Context hint: a short description of the currently highlighted field. This shows on the Phrase screen (full FX command name when an FX column is selected), the Instrument screen (parameter description), and the Track screen (insert FX parameter name).
• Battery indicator: a small battery icon appears at the right end of the status bar when the device reports power state (checked roughly every 10 seconds). The icon turns accent-coloured when charging or when the battery is below 20%.

Toast messages: confirmations like SAVED, UNDO, or SLICE ADDED appear briefly in a small box near the bottom-right, floating above everything else on screen (including modals), and clear themselves after about 3 seconds.
